Fashion shows are a time for designers to show their designs for the fashion season/year and the biggest names always grace the biggest fashion shows. The biggest fashion capitals of the world hold shows every year and they are always packed with the best designers have to offer.
Sometimes, these shows set the fashion trend for the year. Nigerian designers have also up the ante and more Nigerian celebrities are beginning to wear home-grown and made fashion.
The first post in this series features Dakore Egbuson-Akande who wore a pink number by Funke Adepoju. The strapless, long straight lace dress named Victoria features a short frill cape at the bust line. The dress was part of her 2015 collection. The beautiful number is simple and has flower motif at the top, middle and bottom of it.
Dakore paired her dress with a dark pink clutch purse and sandals. She let her hair down in a side bang and kept jewelry minimal, leaving out a neck piece and opting for beautiful but subtle drop earrings and a bracelet.
Dakore wore this to the premiere of “Fifty.”
