I see cape tops as a very fun and simple item of clothing that can change the look of your outfit. Just like many other fashion pieces, it has also evolved and has found itself being used in different ways and styles.
A cape is usually sleeveless large piece of clothing that draped the back, arms and chest with a fastening at the neck; it is an outer garment. They have evolved now from simple clothing to being more tailored and embellished.

Capes have also been referred to as mantels or even cloaks.
