Things To Know About Your Body Shape.

Hello ladies, i’m 70% sure alot of fashionistas out there really do not not know the name or the type of body shape they possess, so i perused this infographics that detailed precisely how our body shapes evolved to what it is today.

I know if you see a girl/lady with that perfect body shape, what comes to mind is “She has a Figure 8 shape!” which literally could be true but that’s not the best way to describe a female with a great body.

So for lesson one, there are 4 types of body shapes(could be more tho),

  • HOURGLASS SHAPE (aka FIGURE 8)
  • PEAR SHAPE
  • APPLE SHAPE

Lesson two:

How to detect a lady with any of the shapes listed above.

Ladies with Rectangle Shape are known to have athletic figure which means they trim their whole body by working out the most tiny fat or weight in their body. They are know to be slim and straight.

Ladies with Hourglass Shape have perfect waist (usually very slim), they also possess that curvy figure and are a bit busty with great hips, you can think Kim Kardashian before having North West.

Ladies with Pear Shape usually have narrower shoulders, they also do have big thighs and sometimes big legs and hips.

Ladies with Apple Shape body have more weight around tummy, broader shoulder and are very busty.

In summary, among this four body shape, ladies with Apple Body shape are known to have low self esteem each time they gain weight, especially when the tummy weight is obvious, here’s what Look-Fabulous wrote which i think explains their pain better…
The apple is a wonderful fruit. However, apple-shaped women don’t always feel as wonderful. You see, an apple shaped body tends to have a softer fuller middle with slim thighs and upper shapely legs. She often has fuller breasts, thinner hips and thighs and a flatter rear end than most. A protruding tummy is also common among the Apples and is a source of much frustration and low self esteem for many of them.

When Apples gain weight, they have a tendency to gain in the midsection, they usually grow thick around the middle down to the thighs. So not all apples are curvy and overweight but generally, all have larger upper body and wider shoulder. This is down to the fact that Apple shaped women have higher androgen levels compared to women with other body types. The high androgen level leads to the skeleton developing in a more masculine pattern and fat is mainly distributed in the chest, face and abdomen.
The goal here is balance, that is, to make your torso look longer and make your shoulders and waist appear slimmer. We want to draw attention away from your tummy up to that beautiful face and all those other assets. You don’t have to cover those curves up Apples. So stop wearing those frumpy sweat shirts and tent dresses that are just blah and do nothing to bring out that fabulous person inside.
