Whether it’s strong or offensive, body odour is a sensitive issue that is commonly addressed by health and fragrance companies to temporarily quench the stench. Dousing in these chemicals and artificial-scent sprays only shield body odour for a short duration, but they fail to treat the underlying cause of these nose-pinching smells. Luckily, there are natural, fresher, and cleaner approaches to tackle undesirable body odour to treat this embarrassing problem.

In order to practice good hygiene, it’s important to know how body odor often occurs. Insufficient bathing or poor hygiene can lead to an unpleasant odour  secreted by the apocrine glands, located in the underarms, genitals, and around the nipples, and the eccrine glands, found in the underarms, hands, and feet, when they interact with skin bacteria. The sebaceous glands, located in the scalp, face, and chest, produce oil, which has a light odour with or without bacteria. 

Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Body Odour

1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice has antiseptic and acidic agents that aids to treat the body odor greatly. It is a well-known ingredient which is greatly used for eliminating body odour  and sweat. Moreover, it helps to make our skin free from unwanted bacterias. Usually, lemon juice is very much helpful in reducing sun tan from our body.

How to follow this remedy:

•Take at least two lemons cut it into small round slices and rub gently on the wet area of your body.

•You can mix one spoon of salt in lemon juice and apply gently on your skin.

•Additionally, drink lemon juice regularly in the morning to release toxins and bacterias from our body.

•You can also add few drops of lemon juice in bath water.

•Properly apply lemon juice on your skin to get rid of unwanted wetness in your body.

2. Baking Soda

Baking soda act as a body refresher and a natural deodorant. It aids to soak up moisture and sweat from our body. Baking soda is the best remedy that takes out bacterias and germs from our body and minimises the body odor significantly. Also, baking soda is also helpful in treating many skin related problems like redness, rashes, and swelling. It treats our skin in a very effective way and assists to reduce the inflammation from our body.

•Add 1- 2 spoon of baking soda in your bath water and bath with diluted water normally to release a bad odor from your body.

•You can also mix two teaspoons of baking soda in lemon juice to reduce sweat from the body.

•Add that mixture of lemon juice or baking soda in your underarms properly, leave it for 5- 10 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.

•Regular use of baking soda can help you to get rid of body odor.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar contains antibacterial properties that help to fight with bacterias which are producing sweat and bad odour in our body. It is usually a best and powerful ingredient that aids to treat our skin problems efficiently. It mainly flushes all the bacterias and reduces the bad odor from our body.  It also helps to maintain the pH level of our body.

How to use the remedy:

•Take one small cup of apple cider vinegar and mix it in bath water. Bath every day with that bath water.

•Drench cotton in apple cider vinegar liquid and apply it softly on your skin.

•Additionally, mix one spoon of honey and one spoon of lemon juice in diluted apple cider vinegar water and use it regularly before bathing. You can also consume that liquid every morning to get away from wetness.

4. Witch Hazel

Witch hazel has astringent agents that help to lower down the pH level of our skin. Witch hazel is extremely very favorable and advantageous ingredient for treating skin issues. It usually works to throw out bacterias and make our skin healthier.Additionally, It also works powerfully to overcome and control other skin related issues.

How to use the remedy:

•You need to drench a cotton ball in witch hazel oil or liquid and gently apply it on your wet skin.

•It will surely help to remove the bad foul smell from your skin or body naturally and properly.

•Whenever you observe a bad odor from your skin, apply witch hazel water immediately for production of freshness in your body.
