Fashion style pick from runway lookbook 9 is a take at one of the iconic designs by the fashion house Lanre da Silva: The frill bottom. In a twist of the frill design which was a huge part of her SS17 Artistic Collection, which features dresses (both long and short), tops and even skirts having this beautiful frilled panel at the edge of the outfit.
In this two piece gold, black and purple attire, Zainab Balogun, who had previously declared her love for this particular set decided to cop herself a piece and mehn, she did justice to the outfit.
The gold top and the black skirt worked really well and she kept her accessories minimal too. She wore strappy gold sandals and a pair of drop pom-pom like earrings. A simple bracelet was the only other jewelry on her and the look ended up being a tasteful one.
