Get in Here Naturalistas! Have You Heard Of Okra Gel For Hair Yet?
In this tutorial by Praise Onaturals, we get to learn hoe to make okra/okro gel for hair. As we already know, okro has a slimy, viscous gelly nature which if we had thought about it earlier does make sense to be used as a gel, just like the flax seeds can be boiled and the liquid extracted as gel.
The great part about this is that okro is readily available and it is also very quick to make too!
Just chop off the ends of the okro, cut it into small pieces and boil for about 5 mins, strain out the liquid with a sieve or a cheese cloth and you can add a few drops of essential oil of your choice to boost its benefits. You don’t want to overboil the okro as you still need it to retain some important nutrients!
This okro gel can be great for detangling, conditioning and providing some measure of hold for your hair.
If you do try this out, kindly let us know how well it held up!
