Gert-Johan Coetzee 2021 Kraal Couture Collection is an ode to his roots on the farm. The designer incorporated cow prints in this unique collection. According to Gert, cows were symbol of wealth in the South Africa, thus, it holds a place of importance.
He added that the Collection was an opportunity for him to research and understand the importance of this animal to South African culture as well as explore the special link between the world we live in and the spiritual.
