WCW: Vivacious Omotola “Omosexy” Jalade-Ekeinde

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, aka Omosexy is a well seasoned actress in Nollywood. Even a child born yesterday knows who Omosexy is. She has been in the game for decades and knows her onions. Omotola began her trip to fame via modeling before she later ventured into acting and along the line, tried to find her feet in the music industry, but unfortunately, those feet were on sand.
She is a beautiful and talented woman who is ever looking young and glowing to boot. She is married to her heartthrob, Captain Matthew Ekeinde and they have been together for almost 21 years. The marriage is blessed with 4 beautiful children, two boys and two girls.
Omotola is one actress whose marriage has stood the test of time, in an industry where marriages get broken as quickly as they were contracted. No scandals have smeared her marriage, and that means she and the captain must be doing something right.
For her strides in the movie industry, she has been awarded several accolades and she is also a brand ambassador for many companies, as a lot of people want to associate their brand with her.
In 2013, she was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, which signified international recognition of her works, both on-screen and off-screen. She was also awards the Member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Award (MFR).
She is also heavily involved in philanthropic works, as she owns her own Non-Governmental Organization, the Omotola Youth Empowerment Program (OYEP) and has also worked with the Amnesty International, Pay Up and Clean Up campaign for Niger Delta, UN ambassador for the World Food Program among others.
This mother of four has successfully managed her life and has continued to be an inspiration to many.
