I my view, I believe Nigerians are “Vibrant”. This vibrancy can be seen in not only our behavior but our cultures,  traditions, not leaving out our beautiful looks..

Its safe to say that the Yoruba people started it all, as they refer to themselves as the “Urban people”.

They were first among others tribes  to live in towns and cities, because of this class according to research and history they had several towns and cities which had huge markets and thus they formed groups and associations.

Many of the female traders traded in cloths and what they referred to as “AsoEbi” which was one of the woven textile that carried more length than the others.

The idea was for families, groups and association to have a similar fabric to showcase their uniformity. This concept of weaving was what popularised the idea of “asoebi”.

While there are several historical facts backing the birth of the concept modernization and generational change has changed the rules, meaning and idea therefore the social tradition has been affected.

Nothing is fixed because things are always changing but one thing that doesn’t change is the general idea which is to signify “Uniformity”.

Despite modernization this concept has endured and not only has it stayed put, it has spread across all other groups.

Now when a friend is getting married and you are asked to pick up an Aso ebi package you would know that you are partaking in a long standing tradition whose idea started as a form to cover up and then moved to uniting families and groups during festivals and ceremonies.

While we could go on and on about the beautiful history behind the Aso ebi, we want you to partake in it and keep the tradition alive and that’s why we’ve brought you Aso ebi styles that you would love.

Let’s keep the tradition alive by Ensuring you Turn Heads At You Next Owambe Party In These Fab Aso Ebi Styles.
