The 12th Headies Awards Ceremony is took place at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos over the weekend . The organisers celebrated music from the July 2016 to December 2017 calendar year.
The Headies formerly known as The Hip Hop World Awards has been celebrating and recognizing outstanding achievements in the Nigerian Music Industry since 2006.
This edition saw the likes of DMW boss Davido, Simi and Wizkid as the biggest winners of the night with each bagging more than one award.
Seyi Shay and Bovi were the hosts of the event. The evening saw Seyi Shay changing her outfit several times, starting the red carpet in a bold black dress by Nigerian fashion brand, Jahdara Couture. The dress was made from velvet and layers of organza fabric.
