Style Pick From Runway Lookbook 3

The dream of every designer is to have his or her creations worn by the creme de la creme of the society, most especially celebrities. The celebrities also do not disappoint as some of them have been made brand ambassadors of some of these fashion houses. With the cost of some outfits from well known designers hitting thousands of dollars or even millions, it goes without saying that these creations are exclusive and not for the “masses.”

In this week’s looks at outfits straight from the runway, Actress Issa Rae grabbed off a leather dress from Off White’s 2017 Spring collection to the MTV Movie and TV Awards ceremony which held on May 7, 2017.

She was the blue version of the dress which Nigerian model Mayowa wore the red version on the runway.

The dress has thin straps to hold it up and features a sweetheart neckline with ruffles in the bust area. The skirt of the dress also has a pleated overlay at the side too.

The “Insecure” actress finished off her look with a Kate Spade clutch and Stuart Weitzman sandals. She had her hair gathered away from her face in a bit of an afro and wore simple earrings and bangle to finish off her look.
