Style Dissection Lookbook 1 Featuring Monica Awe-Etuk
Our style dissect series is a deep look at fashion pieces worn by fashion enthusiasts. It is an opportunity to look at a breakdown of lovely pieces worn by people who love fashion and know how to combine these pieces well. Where possible, we will also tell you where they got their fashion items and how much, if we are able to track down that information.
Not everyone can be a celebrity and not everyone can be a designer but there are people who live and breathe the fashion world and with the help of the internet can easily show off their love to others.
Monica Awe-Etuk is one of them and today we take a quick look at this beautiful all-black ensemble that she put together. Monica wore this monochromatic look that can pass for a beautiful gown but in actual fact is a top and beautifully fringed skirt. The bell sleeves of the organza top add a bit of a chic look to the ensemble and the fringe on the sides and the slit of the skirt adds much needed fun to the look as well. The white and black t-strap pumps gave a bit of color to the look as well as her blue earrings too.
After perusing her style, kindly scroll to the end of this post to see our breakdown on Monica’s look.
A breakdown of Monica’s look:
She added a pop of color to the look with a pair of blue earrings from Ziza Boutique.
As for the shoes and the bag, we bless the Lord for cheaper options for us upcoming fashionistas till the Lord blesses us with more money to splurge on luxury items. Hers are worth admiring!
