Derin Fabikun is the creative director of the popular Nigerian fashion label, Fablane by Derin. Derin began her clothing line in the year 2009 at the age of 19 and has never looked back since then. Her passion for fashion had always been there as she used to make outfits for herself. After a while, she started making tunics for her family, friends and then friends of friends.
The name Fablane by Derin was inspired by her last name Fabikun, her first name Derin and her nickname Miss Fabulous, which she got in university days due to her style and fashion sense.
Derin is a graduate of Management from Covenant University. She has successfully taken her business to being one of the Nigerian brands everyone wants to wear.
