Olamide Adedeji, aka Olamide Baddo is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist who was born on 15th of March, 1989. He was born in Bariga, Lagos state. He studied at Tai Solarin University of Education.
Olamide’s selling point is his unique style of recording his songs mostly in Yoruba language. He broke into the music scene in 2011 when he released his debut album titled “Rapsodi” under ID Cabasa’s label, Coded Tunes and has gone to release an album every year since then.
He released his sophomore album YBNL under his own label, YBNL Nation.
Olamide has gone on to win many awards and was the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Ciroc. He has gone on to sign many deals with other notable companies of which the most recent is Sterling Bank.
