Last Weekend’s Fabulous Ankara Styles That Wowed Us
During the Holiday I was reminded that the Ankara fabric has always had a place in our home.

Growing up, the Ankara already had a place in our home, my father used to buy six yards of fabric and we would share it amongst ourselves, we could either choose to sew something “native” like a six pieces skirt and a blouse or we could go with a simple style like a shift or maxi dress.
Already, the love for the Ankara had already been built in by my parents; I remember admiring the patterns of the fabrics I loved.
somehow back then many of the motifs and drawings were a bit more intricate than the one’s we see now.
