Taking teas, especially without a sweetener or milk is a great way to increase water intake without adding substantial calories. Green teas ate reputed to be beneficial to increase of metabolism rate. taking three cups a day is a great way to start. They can also be chilled before taking. Teas trump soda any day, any time.
2. Water Bottles
This may seem juvenile but it us certainly a great way to have water on the go! Gauging the amount of water you need a day and putting it in a bottle keeps you accountable and helps you meet your water goals.
3. Fruits
Adding fruits to your water give it great flavour and can also help in detoxification, for instance lemon wedges are very popular. Some even add mint leaves to their water bottle to make it easier to drink. Freezing fruits before adding to your water is also another option as well.
4. Sparkling Water
When you need the fizz but you do not want the sugars and empty calories, sparkling water is a great option. You get the soda feel without guilt!
5. Eatingyour water
This may sound weird but it is quit simple. A great way to take more water is to eat fruits that are mostly made of water, such as watermelons, cucumbers, tomatoes, grapefruit. But watch it though, they may be mostly made of water but still contain calories! Moderation is the key
