Ebuka “Okija” Obi-Uchendu is a qualified lawyer and a popular media personality who gained popularity when he contested in the first Big Brother Nigeria series in 2006, where he finished 8th out of the 14 contestants. He was born July 14, 1982 and he is an indigene of Okija in Anambra state.

After the reality show, he went on to become a brand ambassador for a brewing company and also hosted some shows. He also had a weekly column in one of the national dailies and has also contributed to some publications as well. He also freelances as an MC for events.
He also hosted the first ever presidential debate focused on youth issues, and he has been seen as an influential voice for young people across issues from pop culture over the past few years
He has been nominated and has won some awards since his foray into media and in 2013, he was honored by the Federal Government of Nigeria as one of the Best 100 Young Nigerians to mark the Centenary anniversary of Nigeria as a union.
He is married to Cynthia Obi-Uchendu (Nee Obianodo) and the couple welcomed their first child earlier in the year.
