Hair Tutorial: How To Create Perfect Bantu Knot Out
Bantu knots are a cute, flirty style hairdo that is common among certain cultural groups in Africa. The Bantu knots are basically small coiled sections of hair that when uncoiled, the knots it creates another beautiful hairstyle of curly hair called Bantu knots-out.
This hairstyle works perfectly well on all hair types too and they are perfect as protective hairstyles.
Just like any other hairstyle, these knots outs are best done on freshly washed and conditioned hair. Since the scalp would be exposed due to the sectioning of the hair, it’s best that the scalp is clean.
Also, ensure that your hair is well detangled too. This hair is best done with damp hair as dry hair will be more difficult to set; spray your hair with some water if undone sections dry along the way.
Watch this video to see how the coiling of the hair is done.
For the knots-out, ensure the hair is dry before taking it down. You can use a blow dryer on cool setting if you are in a hurry. Failure to dry the hair before releasing the coils will only leave you with limp knot outs
