Five Best Oils For Skin Hydration This Season

1. Olive Oil

You Will Need

  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Towel

Treatment Time

30 minutes

Method

  1. Shower in warm water to open and cleanse your pores.
  2. Once you’re done with washing, wash with cold water to seal your pores.
  3. Pat yourself dry with a towel.
  4. Once dry, massage your skin with the olive oil for about 5-10 minutes.
  5. Leave the oil on for 15 minutes.
  6. Proceed to gently wipe off the oil with a towel.
  7. Do not rinse any further

How Often?

3-4 times a week.

2. Coconut Oil

You Will Need

  • ¼ cup Coconut Oil
  • Towel

Prep Time

5 minutes

Treatment Time

20 minutes

Method

  1. Shower in warm water to open and cleanse your pores.
  2. Once you’re done with washing, wash with cold water to seal your pores.
  3. Pat yourself dry with a towel.
  4. Once dry, massage your skin with coconut oil for a couple of minutes.
  5. Leave the oil on for 15 minutes.
  6. Proceed to gently wipe off the oil with a towel.
  7. Do not rinse any further

Thrice a week.

3. Shea Butter

You Will Need

  • 2-4 tbsp Raw Shea Butter
  • Towel

10 minutes

Method

  1. Shower in warm water to open and cleanse your pores.
  2. Once you’re done with washing, wash with cold water to seal your pores.
  3. While your skin is still damp, rub the shea butter onto it in gentle circular motions.
  4. Leave the butter on for about 10-15 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes have passed, gently pat yourself dry with a towel.

Every day or every other day.

You Will Need

  • A few drops of Argan Oil
  • Towel

2 minutes

Treatment Time

  • 5 minutes.

Method

  1. Wash and cleanse the parts of your skin that are dry.
  2. Pat dry with a towel.
  3. Take a few drops of Argan oil and start massaging it into the affected dry areas.
  4. Let your skin absorb the oil.

Everyday.

5.Jojoba Oil

You Will Need

  • 3-4 tbsp Jojoba Oil
  • Towel
