Theresa May is the August visitor Nigeria had in May. The British Prime Minister came to Nigeria on Wednesday wearing a jacket made by Nigerian designer Emmy Kasbit.
The Britain Prime Minister chose a custom aso-oke jacket from the brand’s Spring Summer 18 Collection as she arrived Nigeria on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister was pictured wearing jacket zipped midway and styled with a white vest and wide legged pants. She came to Nigeria on a 2-day state visit to continue her first official visit to Africa.
Information on the website of the designer indicated that Emmy Kasbit was launched in January 2014 by its creative head, Emmanuel Okoro. It is menswear cum womenswear brand out of Nigeria.
The creative director of the brand had this to say:
“With its design aesthetic being clean and architectural cuts, Emmy Kasbit paints the picture of a fashion-embraced man and woman who build their outfit to fit into the environment which in turn fits in!,”
