If you are skeptical about how this works, here are a few reasons why this remedy is effective:

Potatoe

Potatoes contain an enzyme called catecholase, which can help reduce dark spots, blemishes and acne scars. It also contains Vitamin C, which can help brighten the skin and boost collagen production too.

They also have potassium, for skin hydration and moisturization; Calcium to heal dry skin and give protection to the top layer of the skin; Magnesium present in potatoes also help to fight free radicals which can cause wrinkles.

Blended potatoes

Now that you know how the nutrient content of potatoes help lighten the skin, let’s talk about how to get this done.

If you decide not to blend your potatoes like the lady in the video, you can grate it instead. Just try to ensure you don’t introduce water to the process.

You can do this twice a day, a couple of days in a week till you see result. It may take up to a month before results can be seen.

Remember, this is a natural and safe and quite inexpensive remedy, do not expect magic. You have to be consistent with it so as to see results.
