Amnas Unveils The Most Chic Modest Womenswear Collection.

I am not a Muslim, but this collection by Amnas has pieces for every woman. The fabric, the cut and design of the pieces in this collection wowed me. This collection screams “Chic, Stylish, Fabulous Modern Muslim!”

According to the statement following the release:

“It is our belief that your culturally aware, globally curious readership will be very interested in learning about Amnas; the very delicate balance they strike between style and modesty; and how they are changing the stereotype surrounding Muslim women and fashion in Nigeria, and beyond.”

Speaking about the collection, the Creative Director, Fatima Gidado, had this to say:

“For this collection, more than anything, I wanted to create pieces that were multi-functional. I want the Amnas woman to be able to wear a dress on different occasions and not be bored by such dress. So, there’s an element of function that marries aesthetics in such an elegant fashion.”
